On November 3rd 2011, Perth Amboy High School showcased an event known as Amboy Idol, which is basically a talent show with judges. The show is always packed since it is a popular event within the town. At this Amboy Idol, there were 23 acts, this performance was number 23, the grand closing and features Arcadio Rivera III on piano, Tony Bonilla on drumset, Alberto Roa on bass, and Patrick Minogue on electric guitar and vocals. The song choice is a two song medley of John Mayer's classy song, Gravity, and transitions into the headbanging Sweetness by Jimmy Eats World. As you can see, the performers along with the crowd were extremely enthusiastic about the performance,in which resulted this band to win Amboy Idol's "Instrumentalists/Band" category!
