Soilent green is one of the famous sludge bands from Metairie, Louisiana (New Orleans). The bands name is influenced by Harry Harrison's American science fiction, Soylent Green. The band also reminds of the famous Napalm Death a British grindcore metal band. The band Soilent Green was formed in 1988 with their debut album Pussysoul marketed by famous Dwell Records. But the subsequent albums were solely under the mark of Relapse Records.
