Playing Video Games Can Be Exercise For Your Brain Posted By: Art Gib
People often tend to give gamers a hard time about how much of their daily lives are spent playing video games. There seems to be a common misconception that playing video games will make one stupid, or dull one's mind. There have been some interesting studies and some different researchers that are claiming otherwise, that show that playing video games may actually enrich one's mind. Of course, nobody is arguing that playing games 24 hours a day is a healthy activity. However, video games certainly aren't actually causing anyone to become stupid, and may actually be bolstering healthy cognition. While there may be a few games that any mindless drone could play, many games require a great deal of cognitive exercise, from problem solving, to pattern recognition. Many games require players to develop patience, because of different time frames required to complete specific quests. Players must manage resources which are scarce, and use them to the best of their advantage. Essentially, gaming is not mindless. Players often do a lot of critical thinking.Playing games can also actually help a person to develop quick hand eye coordination, and quick analytical skills. mobile franchisesmobile video game theater
